The concept (in few words)
What does a housewife do when she wants to cook a meal for lunch or
dinner for her family? She communicates with her family members and
with her cookbook. What do we do when we want to go to a restaurant
which is very popular and always booked? We get our phones and call the
person we think can get us a reservation! What do we do when there is a
premiere of long expected great new movie in cinema? We call the Cinema
and get information we need! What do we do when we want to go for a
walk with our friends? We get our phone and send him or her a message
or we simply call them.
So, the common factor among all this and
many other answers is – COMMUNICATION! John Donne said: “No man is an
island” and that is our starting point in this challenge!
Mobile phone as an integral part of people’s everyday lives should be a
CHAMELEON PHONE – change shape and function by the requirements of the
situation.
CP would actually be a device which enables VOIP operation
(via software like Skype) which reduces costs an average user has. This way we won't have to pay to mobile operators and to our Internet providers monthly bills. There would only be Internet providers which will significantly reduce costs, because, for example, when you talk via Skype (Skype-Skype calls) your cost is neglectful per call.
CP would have virtual monitor and virtual keyboard making it possible for people to do online meetings, text processing, watch movies wherever they want etc.
It would be able to detect viruses and that way stop diseases. It could also measure pressure and sugar.
Battery would be rechargeable via body temperature and solar
energy to prevent bad effect of disposing plastic phone chargers.It
would end the call if the child swears.
